Couples Talk

A monthly hour of engaging stories and conversation, via Zoom Webinar and Facebook Live, provided by our Family Life team.  

Couples Talk tackles specific topics regarding relationships and how to build and maintain them. 

For couples looking for encouragement and practical tips on building a stronger relationship together. 

For an hour, open and honest interviews with featured couples give inspiration, hope and practical insights for your own relationship. 

Recent topics covered have included: 

• Resolving conflict 
• Counterfeit love (rebuilding relationships in the face of addiction) 
• Love that heals (marriage after divorce) 

These are delivered through a Zoom webinar (not the same as a Zoom meeting). This means that only the interviewees can be seen on screen. Also, attendees are all automatically on mute. 

Couples can make comments and interact with each other, if they so choose, via the chat box. 

They can also submit questions (anonymously, if they prefer) in the separate Q&A function. These are then addressed by the interviewees during an optional extra half hour. 

Couples Talk events are also live streamed to Facebook. This is especially helpful for those who can’t join the live event and want to watch it there later.  

Each event includes ‘Takeaways’ – suggested next steps and discussion questions to help grow a stronger and thriving relationship together. 

Pre-registration is necessary to join the webinar. Those who register receive a personalised link. 

Being online, Couples Talk is easily accessible for couples from the comfort of their own home. 

The events are usually run in an evening (8-9pm).
