The Electrician’s Children
This 250-page book, written by former Agapé UK National Director David Wilson, tells the stories of three generations of his family, with contributions from the author’s siblings, Myles Wilson and Ruth McNeill.
It begins in remote, rural County Donegal in the 1920s and proceeds across five continents to the present day. The electrician’s two sons and one daughter, struck by their parents’ unpretentious faith, one by one became champions of the plain-spoken message of Jesus.
The Electrician’s Children recount their adventures not only throughout Ireland and the UK but also in Russia, East Africa, East Asia, Western Europe and Pakistan. With many stories of Agapé ministry in UK and Ireland.

“This is the story of disarming courage, indescribable generosity and heartrending personal suffering. In burnout and breaking out their dependence on God is life changing. Boredom is non-existent. You will be inspired, encouraged and moved by reading this book. I certainly have!” – Rt. Rev. Kenneth Clarke
“’There’s nothing like the company of people who will discuss the big issues of life together,’ writes David Wilson. This book, and the people it depicts, are great company themselves. And, as the writer makes clear, Christ is the best company of all.” – Senator Rónán Mullen
